Tree Removal across the Central Coast
Enquiries come from right across Central Coast Council's area. Seven suburbs have a page, because the public record says something about trees in each that changes the job; the rest, Gosford and Terrigal among them, are covered without one.

In the south, Umina Beach and Woy Woy share the largest remnants of an endangered sandplain woodland, and Woy Woy has a flying-fox camp by the Everglades Wetlands. On the coast, Wamberal and Bateau Bay back onto nature reserves and a national park. Inland, Narara holds six heritage-listed trees and tree groups. In the north, Blue Haven has a swamp forest type the State's mapping places only in the Wyong district, and Lake Munmorah contains a state conservation area.

One council, several other authorities
Every suburb here is in Central Coast Council's area, so the same permit rules apply to a private tree in each. What differs is who else has a say: the National Parks and Wildlife Service on reserve land, Council's Heritage Officer for heritage trees, the state biodiversity offsets scheme on mapped biodiversity land, and Local Land Services on rural or waterway-zoned land.
Suburbs without a page
A suburb with no page of its own is still covered. Pages exist where the public record gave us something true about trees in that suburb alone; enquiries from the other nine suburbs this site serves, Gosford included, are referred on in the same way.
Thanks — we have your enquiry. Someone will be in touch shortly. Prefer to talk now? Call (02) 4315 2380.
